Look at this handsome boy! Bart was found walking down the street around sunset. Smart dog - he was walking in the bike lane. I stopped, he wagged his tail, I opened the car door and he crawled in.

Bart is a sweet, tail-wagging, face-licking big puppyish dog. He hasn't had any accidents in the house or been destructive of things, though he has been known to relocate a few shoes. Like any young dog, he needs adequate exercise and someone to spend time with him . He wants to be right by you. He seems to love all people, even when they're giving him shots. He is simply a sweetie!

Bart loves to go for walks and is well-behaved. He is puppyish but house-trained. He gets along well with our skitterish female Heeler cross, but she's not as thrilled about playing as he is. Bart, on the other hand, is thrilled about company and is friendly and loving to all.

Bart enjoys sunbathing and romping around. He passed the good disposition test at Camp Bow Wow and plays with all the dogs. He needs a forever home with lots of love and activity. A doggie playmate would be great. He’s mostly an indoor dog but still needs a fenced yard. He’s a Pit Bull / Lab mix on the small side, about 55 pounds. He has some mysterious scars on his back and head. Who knows what he's been through, but what we know for sure is that he now needs a forever, loving home.

Bart is neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on his vaccinations and in good health. He plays well with other dogs and is very willing to learn. Please call if you might be the one to provide the home that Bart deserves.
