Dear Dog Lovers -

I am looking for a new home for our 8-year old Australian Kelpie mix. She is best in a home with no other animals and would love someone to walk with day and night, night and day. She would need a yard to run in. She is very sweet with adults and older children but is nervous around really young children so would need to be introduced slowly. She is loving, loyal, and is a one man working dog. She would be a great jogging mate and will watch over your home while you are not there. She loves to play Frisbee and would do best with a young male adult who has the time to give her lots of exercise and would be firm with her - she obeys commands but needs a firm owner so she knows she's not the Alpha Dog.

Sandi has all her shots and will come with a crate (which she sleeps in at night), food, beds, leashes, dog toys and much, much more.

Kelpies are loyal, friendly, intelligent, energetic dogs that require a challenging job to be satisfactory companions. With personalized love and attention, they can be very placid and faithful, although they do need space to run.

Working-bred Kelpies have done quite well in dog sports, search and rescue work, and can be good family dogs if they receive sufficient physical and mental exercise.
